MEATBALLS WITH PASTA & MARINARA SAUCE

Really can't wait for you to try one of our family's favorite recipes, meatballs served with pasta and marinara sauce. Our meatballs recipe is so flavorful & versatile. It can be served not only with pasta but also with rice, as sandwiches or....toss it on top of your salads! And not only that, these meatballs and marinara sauce recipe are free of the 9 major food allergens. Can you believe that ?

Ingredients:

# For the meatballs:

1 pound ground beef

1 tablespoon minced garlic

1 tablespoon chopped onion

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

3/4 teaspoon paprika

1 tablespoon tomato paste

# For the marinara sauce:

1 (15-ounce) can tomato sauce

1 tablespoon minced garlic

1/4 cup chopped onion

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

 # For serving:

1 pound pasta of your choice, cooked according to package directions

Directions:

  1. Place the ground beef, salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, paprika, garlic, onion and tomato paste in a bowl. Combine very lightly using hands until all ingredients are evenly mixed. Form the mixture into 1.5-inch meatballs. You will have about 15-16 meatballs.
  2. Pour vegetable oil into a 9-inch frying pan to a depth of 1/4-inch. Heat oil in medium heat. In batches, place the meatballs carefully in the oil and brown them well on all sides. Turning carefully with a spoon or a fork. Don't crowd the meatballs. Remove the meatballs using a skimmer spoon and place them on a strainer that is placed over a bowl. 
  3. For the sauce, heat olive oil in a saucepan on low-medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for a few seconds. Add the chopped onions. Seasoned with salt, Italian seasoning and black pepper. Stir in the cherry tomatoes and tomato sauce. Simmer on low heat until slightly thickened. 
  4. Serve hot on cooked pasta of your choice.
